Nicholas Snyder

Nick is the Chief Retail Banking Officer at Evans Bank and responsible for their 18 branch retail branch network, small business lending, mortgage banking, deposit operations, and customer experience center. He first joined Evans in 2007 as the Assistant Controller and was later promoted to Controller. In 2017, he took on additional responsibility as Chief Administrative Officer of the Evans Agency. He moved into his current role in 2019. At the start of his career, Nick worked at KPMG as an auditor and at M&T Bank as a Mergers & Acquisition analyst in the Corporate Finance department. He also later worked as a financial reporting manager in M&T’s Corporate Reporting department. Nick has worked on many acquisitions over the course of his career at Evans and M&T including a whole bank, an FDIC-assisted failed bank acquisition, a branch network, a data processing company, and multiple insurance agencies. Nick has a CPA license and earned a BS/MBA at the University at Buffalo. He is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Beyond Support Network as well as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Buffalo Urban League.
