I am celebrating 25 years in banking. I spent 22 years at BB&T (Truist) and 3 of my most recent years at United Community Bank. I began my banking career in the Leadership Development Program and upon graduation, I became a Branch Manager for 3 years. My time in the field was extremely valuable. I then worked as a Regional Sales Coordinator for 3 years. My role was working with all lines of business within the region to ultimately better help the customer. My last 15 years at BB&T I was the Regional Banking Manager. I led as many as 110 branches in the state of South Carolina. A big emphasis became helping our branches become Small Business experts. Branch dynamics began changing 10 years ago and if we wanted our fair share of the business, our branches had to turn their attention to who was coming in – the business owner. Here at UCB, I am our Head of Retail Sales. I work with branch leaders and help equip them with financial knowledge with an emphasis on Consumer and Small Business lending. I also work with special projects ensuring that we are providing the right solutions and the right processes to help our bankers better help our customers. I am proud to work for a bank who has won the JD Powers award for #1 Customer Service 8 of the last 9 years in the Southeast! I have been married 15 years to my husband Josh and we have 2 children, 13 and 11, Landon and Kaylee.
