Katie Henry

Katie has enjoyed a successful banking career since graduating from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2000 with a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communications. She began her professional journey with a small mortgage company, where she initially worked in marketing and database management and grew over an eight-year period, taking on additional oversight and leadership roles, demonstrating a deeper skillset in operations, strategy and innovation. Within two years, the company was acquired by a local community bank, marking the true beginning of her banking career. Katie held various roles, from business development to operations, before joining another community bank in Omaha in 2008. There, she continued to expand her banking knowledge through diverse roles in marketing, human resources, commercial and consumer lending, and more. In 2016, Katie joined ACCESSbank, where today, she oversees all functions of Consumer Banking, including Personal and Executive Banking, Mortgage Lending, Consumer Underwriting, and the Marketing Department. Beyond her professional achievements, Katie is deeply involved in community service. She serves as the secretary on the Board of Directors for Angels Among Us, the president of Suburban Rotary of Omaha, and is a member of Leadership Omaha, Class 46.
