Soren Bested

Soren spent more than a decade serving financial institutions in the US, Europe and Australia. He joined emerging FinTech, Monitise, in London in 2007 and played a key role in seeing Monitise mature to become the largest global mobile banking and payments service provider. During his tenure in the US, he served as Managing Director of Monitise Americas, COO and Global Head of Product for Monitise Group. In 2017, Soren became part of the formative team at Pivotus Ventures where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer. Prior to focusing on the financial services industry, Soren was invited to lead the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer program and be part of the prestigious Global Leadership Fellows program. During his time in Singapore, Soren co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer for CordLife; a biotech company that went one to become South-East Asia’s dominant provider of cord blood and cord lining banking services. Soren’s industry tenure has primarily been focused on fintech services, and has also included biotechnology, healthcare and international strategic collaboration. During his career, Soren has lived and worked in six countries across four continents.
